THE
K-9 KOOL HAT Our very practical hat
The idea was born twenty years ago from a desire to help
my ‘hot dogs’ who
were always seeking shade from the intense desert sun. Wouldn’t they
appreciate a hat too, I thought, if I could succeed in a comfortable design.
After twenty years, there are now tens of thousands of dogs across the country
who will attest to just that success.
We
have designed and hand-made our hats concentrating on its functions
and, most of all, its comfort ability. We want comfort first,
then maximize the shade and cooling aspect. We use the lightest
and highest quality material including very adjustable brims
and Velcro closures. Extraordinary care is given to avoiding
the dogs sensitive ears, not being in their line of vision,
and not moving when it is on their head. As a result, most
of the time you’ll find them not even knowing it’s
there. Especially when out enjoying their favorite activities,
outdoors.
Not
only do they look great and shade the dogs face and head, but
for further function, our Kool Hats will cool the dog ! We
also insert a foam piece in the top of the hat and provide
a terry-cloth lining so that on those hot days> the hat
can be wet down to provide additional cooling. It actually
sits on the head like a wet towel. (The plastic brim assures
no harm to the hat, when wet).

K-9 KOWBOY HAT Our stylish version
Although we love the practicality of our Kool Hats, we also recognized the
desire for a fine fashionable hat , as well. So with style and comfort in mind,
we introduced the K-9 Kowboy Hat in 1990 . Equally comfortable (same fitting
design), the Kowboy Hats give a classic western appearance. We offer these
in more fashionable patterns, again the finest and lightest materials available.
All
our hats are handmade by family, here in the USA. We do not
import or buy and sell.
